I'm Kimberly Goulds! I'm an artist located in Johnson City, Tennessee creating paintings full of warmth and wonder. If you love magical forests, cozy cottages, and everything in between, welcome - you'll be right at home here!

I've always loved filling the world around me with whimsy - from building fairy houses as a child to consuming a steady supply of fantasy books ever since. Now, I paint a world full of cozy, everyday magic to brighten up all the beautifully ordinary parts of your life. 

I have a BA in Communication Arts from Lees-McRae College and have been working professionally since 2022. I primarily paint with acrylics, but occasionally branch into other mediums. 

why larkspur?

My birthday is in July, and larkspur is the July birth flower. In floriography (like my vocabulary word?), it means lightness of spirit, laughter, youth, and a whole host of other beautiful things. Since I focus on similar themes frequently in my work, I thought it would make a fitting name for my studio!
